Resurfacing works will be carried out by East Riding Council on two miles of the A1034, between Gaufer Hill and Syke House Farm, near Sancton,

Work is programmed to start on Monday 11 November and will continue for six weeks, with work taking place between 7am-4pm.

A traffic control system, with a convoy vehicle and a mandatory 30/10mph temporary speed limit, will be in operation throughout the works to restrict vehicle speeds and provide a safe passage through the site.

Drivers are advised to avoid the works, where possible.
