People across the region will pay their respects on Remembrance Sunday to honour those lost in conflict.

In Pocklington, a parade will start at 2.15pm on The Balk and stop at the World War One memorial on Market Street for a short wreath laying ceremony at about 2.25pm.

The parade will then march down Chapmangate to the World War Two memorial, on Grape Lane, for another short wreath laying ceremony at about 2.45pm.
