Record crowds, star performers and an array of beers and ciders for drinkers to choose from helped make last weekend’s 10th annual Pocktoberfest “the best ever.”

More than 2,000 people packed into Pocklington’s Old Station on Saturday and Sunday for the popular music and beer festival, which featured stellar acts such as BRIT and Mercury Music Award nominee Richard Hawley, Squeeze frontman Glenn Tilbrook and acclaimed singer-songwriter Josh Ritter, who all wowed the crowds with their performances.
