Year 7 Woldgate students vote for their Pupil Council representatives

While most of the world have their eyes focused on the US elections, Woldgate School held its own very important election.

In their Citizenship lesson, Year 7 pupils made their way to the voting booths to elect their representatives for the Pupil Council. A record 14 pupils put themselves forward for election and gave a speech in assembly to put their points across. It was a very close run election, but the two pupils that were elected were Sol Maynard and Isla McDaid.
