Pupils from Pocklington’s Newlands School Yorkshire hit the air waves when they visited the West Wold Radio station in the town centre.

Stuart Cocker, the station manager, welcomed the children and hosted a guided tour.

The children were excited in being given the opportunity to be recorded singing their Christmas Carols.

The performance will be broadcast over the Christmas period.

All the staff and pupils of Newlands School Yorkshire wish Pock Post readers a very merry Christmas and happy and peaceful new year.
