Public meeting for digestion plant

There are growing concerns among some residents about the planning application for a anaerobic digestion plant on Park Farm, in Holme-on-Spalding Moor.

The application says the plant will process 70,000 tones of vegetable, fish and poultry waste and pet food by-products which has raised concerns to the location of the site, heavy good vehicle movement in the town and the potential odour and visual impact. The issue will be discussed at a public meeting today at the Methodist Church Hall, Holme-on-Spalding Moor at 7pm.
