A report published by an East Riding Council review panel raising concerns over planned radical changes to Humberside Police has received unanimous backing from councillors.

The report, compiled by a special Police Review Panel, has raised serious concerns over the ‘Building the Future’ restructure which Humberside Police are looking to fully implement by next April.

The report was presented to the council’s Cabinet, having already been approved by the council’s Overview Management Committee, and Safer and Stronger Communities Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Committee.
