Pocktoberfest organisers have announced record profits of £12,000 from this year’s event, which will go towards Help for Heroes and local good causes.

With a stunning lineup, including Echo and the Bunnymen and members of Ocean Colour Scene, coupled a huge range of ales, over 18,000 converged on Pocklington for the festival on 27 and 28 October.

With an initial charity target of £5,000, organisers are delighted to have smashed that figure.
