TV stardom is on the cards for a talented Pocklington musician who is set to sing in a major Channel 4 drama.

Tom Morris, 30, features on the soundtrack to Southcliffe, which hit Britain’s screens on Sunday and Monday night.

Songwriter Tom, who works at Pocklington Arts Centre, is thrilled to be involved with the drama and will perform in front of the camera later on in the series.

Southcliffe tells the story of an English Market town ripped apart by a spate of shootings over a single day.

Starring Sean Harris and Rory Kinnear, the gritty four-part drama charts how residents deal with the aftermath of the tragedy.
