Plans to build a huge pipeline across the region are being examined in public by a government inspector.

Several days of site visits and public examination hearings for the Yorkshire and Humber Carbon Capture and Storage Project have been scheduled to take place in late January and early February, as part of the Government’s formal examination of National Grid’s project. The hearings will take at Bishop Burton College near Beverley. Only people who have registered their interest with the Planning Inspectorate can speak at the hearings, but anyone can attend.
