As part of the continuing investigation into the murder of Peter Battle whose body was found at whisker Cottage in Full Sutton, East Yorkshire on Thursday 7 February 2013, police are releasing images of items they wish to identify.

The items in question are described as Official ECU coins and are displayed in a presentation box as can be seen in the images. The coins also have a Certificate of Authentication.

Detective Chief Inspector Alistair McFarlane said: “An aspect of our continuing investigation centres on items of property which may have been stolen from Peter BATTLE’S home.

“In order to establish if these coins were ever the property of Peter Battle, we are keen to trace anyone who may have sold similar coins to him or can identify the coins in the pictures as being the ones they sold to Mr Battle.

“If anyone is able to help with our ongoing inquiries they are asked to contact Humberside Police’s incident room on 01377 208989
