Theatre season gets underway at Pocklington Arts Centre later this month as Bristol-based company Vamos Theatre put on their Finding Joy show on 28 January.
The award-winning mask/theatre company, will put on their anarchic, adventure play about the relationship between a creative grandmother who is losing her memory and her rebellious grandson carer at 7.30pm.
The next theatre production to visit the venue will be The Fisherman and the Pearl, a show for ages five and above, by the Children’s Lempen Puppet Theatre.
The comic, yet tragic, family show includes puppetry, masks, storytelling and animation and will take place at 2.30pm on 21 February.
The centre will also host productions from York playwright Mike Kenny on 29 March at 2.30pm, the Magic Carpet Theatre on 24 April at 2.30pm and the Scribbled Thought and Vertical Line Theatre on 28 May, again at 2.30pm.
