A Pocklington woman whose life has been put on hold following a shocking road accident has found a new lease of life raising money for charity.
Mandy Storey, 43, is now urging members of the public to support her fund-raising night at the Station Hotel on June 14.
It’s exactly a year ago since a motorist travelling at 70mph ran into the back of Mandy’s car which was stationary in a traffic jam on the A1 motorway. Also in the car where her two children, Melissa and Cameron and her husband Paul who was driving.
All were taken to hospital, but Mandy was the most badly injured and had to be cut free from the wreckage and stretchered on a spinal board.
