A NEW initiative that offers unemployed young people the opportunity to gain experience in the work environment and boost their chances of finding a job has been launched in Holme-on-Spalding Moor.

Training centre Skills 4 Holme has been formed by the Holme Christian Fellowship, which is working with Job Centre Plus to give unemployed 18-24-year-olds the chance to gain practical skills such as carpentry, fabrication, working with building materials, horticultural work and more.

Trainees can also learn admin and computer skills and find out how to present a good CV and how to handle interviews.
