Market Weighton soldier snaps up photography award

A soldier from Market Weighton has snapped up a photography award.

Corporal James McAllister, 24, of York Road, has won the Amateur Sport/Adventure Training category in this year’s Army Photographic Competition with his image of an army mountain biker taking part in a race.

Former Signaller James, who is currently training to become an army photographer in the Royal Logistic Corps, is delighted that his image was chosen.
