A MAN is expected to appear in court next week to face ten charges of animal neglect.
David Hinde is accused of three cases of causing unnecessary suffering to horses and seven counts of failing to ensure their welfare.
They relate to horses at Walk House Farm in Kiplingcotes, Market Weighton, between February and March of last year.
They include accusations of failing to address poor body condition and weight loss, insufficient access to drinking water, lack of veterinary care, lack of treatment for tapeworm, lice and mites, skin conditions, dental care and hoof care.
The 46-year-old, from Aberford near Leeds, who denies all ten charges, is expected to attend Beverley Magistrates’ Court on 26 January for a case management hearing.
