A TALENTED Wilberfoss youngster has spoken about her experiences competing in the UKs biggest athletics event for blind children.

Lydia Wrightson, 10, was one of 150 visually-impaired young people to take part in the event at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, run by the organisation, Action for Blind People.

Lydia, who is a member of Hull Actionnaires, a multi-activity club for blind and partially-sighted children, took part in the sprint events with other youngsters representing 20 towns and cities from around the UK.
