Youngster wins prize for her mum

A FLORISTS in Pocklington has announced the winner of its Mother’s Day competition for local children.

Blooming Occasions, in Market Street, asked youngsters to colour in a picture of a bouquet and tell them what they think is so special about their mum.

The winner was seven-year-old Jessie Ramshaw, who received a bouquet and a box of chocolates for her mum.
