World’s largest hand-carved rocking horse to go on display in Pocklington

The world’s largest hand-carved working wooden rocking horse will be galloping to Pocklington’s Burnby Hall Gardens next month.

‘Bigger Bertie’, measuring 28’ 3” long x 14’6” high and 5’10” wide, will be a new attraction at the venue from 23 April.

Having attracted widespread media attention at both national and international levels, he will now have a new home at the Gardens, giving their many thousands of annual visitors the opportunity to appreciate this unique rocking horse in beautiful surroundings.
