A group of fundraisers worked up a sweat in aid of the Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
An aerobics session was held at Francis Scaife Sports Centre in Pocklington, which about 50 men and women took part in.
The session, organised by Jos Tysna, from Wilberfoss, helped raise £550 for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
In addition, another £300 has been raised for the appeal from a raffle organised by Francis Scaife receptionist Carol Hiles and a further £150 was raised by a woman who attended the aerobics session, bringing the fundraising total to £1,000.
Ms Tysna said: “The session was brilliant. I loved the atmosphere. 50 people turned up. It seemed like everyone had a good time.”
Explaining why she decided to raise funds for the Typhoon Appeal, she added: “After seeing pictures on television you are touched and want to help.”
