Wilberfoss responders needed

WILBERFOSS First Response is looking for new volunteers to join the team, ideally people who live in the village.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service will teach volunteer community first responders (CFRs) life-saving skills to use in their community.

The group is also looking for someone to donate a small 4x4 vehicle, possibly heading towards the end of its working life, to give the team greater capability and winter safety.

Wilberfoss First Response made 120 actual responses last year within an eight-mile radius of Wilberfoss. Volunteers need to be over 18 and have their own car.
