Wilberfoss play area given funding boost

WORK has got underway on improving a play area in Wilberfoss after villagers recently secured £4,500 in funding.

Wilberfoss Playing Fields Association, which is responsible for the upkeep of the play area, is working with the parish council and Wilberfoss in Bloom on the project, which will commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and celebrate the London Olympics.
