From the earliest times Catholic have built and decorated their churches using the talents of many different craftsmen.
Stone masons, carpenters, metal workers and artists have put their abilities to the service of God and the Church.
Catholics have always an instinct to give of their best for the glory of God and to express their faith in a variety of ways.
Mosaics, frescoes, paintings, statues and carvings were used to depict scenes from the Bible, the lives of Christ and the saints.
Every expression of faith was also an aid to prayer.
