Two arrests made after crash in South Cave

Police attended a crash on West End in South Cave yesterday.

The collision happened at 11.32am and is believed to have involved a Ford KA and a Mitsubishi Shogun.

Two men, who are thought to have been travelling in the Shogun departed the vehicle prior to police arrival.

The police helicopter assisted in finding the two men who have both been located and subsequently arrested. The female driver of the KA vehicle has been treated for what are believed to be minor injuries.

The road was blocked for a period of time and police asked people to avoid the area, during the closure.
