A private primary school in Pocklington has formed a new partnership with another independent school.

Newlands School Yorkshire, on Carr Lane, has been appointed by Hull-based Hymers College as an associate school, creating a new educational path for youngsters from nursery right through to sixth form.

Tracy Kelly, Principal at Newlands, claims the new partnership is a hugely important move for parents and youngsters throughout East Yorkshire and closer to York, while David Elstone, Headmaster at Hymers, said the association would provide a much-needed alternative for parents.

Full story in tomorrow’s (22 May) Pocklington Post.
