Humberside Police Crime Commissioner candidate Paul Davison in Pocklington on Tuesday

Policing took a front seat in Pocklington this week as three of the candidates in the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner elections visited our area.

The new Police Crime Commission position represents a huge shakeup in policing with each responsible for scrutinising their police force, setting police budgets and giving the public a greater say in how crime is tackled it their area.
