Pocklington student to be medal bearer

A student from Pocklington who has been selected as a medal bearer at the Commonwealth Games is appealing for people to help her to fulfil a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Former Woldgate College pupil, Emily Kendra, 19, applied to be a Clydesider - the Commonwealth Games equivalent to the Games Makers at the London Olympics - at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, but was delighted to be offered the prestigious job of Medal Bearer following an interview.
