A bumper programme of events is planned at Pocklington’s Burnby Hall Gardens, which is set to open its doors for the new season.

The estate will be welcoming visitors again from Saturday, which will also see the official opening of the newly-decorated cafe in the gardens.

This year, there are a number of new events for people to look forward to, including St George’s Day celebrations on 21 April and a Tulip Festival from 25 April to 5 May.

More information in tomorrow’s (21 March) new-look Pocklington Post.
