A Pocklington church is undergoing a major revamp, costing more than £150,000, thanks to a substantial grant from Waste Recycling Environmental Limited (WREN).

Restoration work began yesterday at Pocklington Christian Fellowship (PCF) Church and is expected to be completed by this June.

A £50,000 grant from WREN will be used to re-build the inside of the Chapmangate church.

Full story in this Thursday’s paper (16 January).
