The chairman of Holme-on-Spalding Moor Parish Council has been charged with two alleged offences in connection with a sexual assault on a 15-year-old boy in Kent.

Christopher Worrall, 45, of Chapel Fields, was arrested in Humberside on 12 June last year.

Following an investigation by Kent Police, he was charged on Friday 17 January with sexual assault on a boy under 16 and meeting a boy under 16 after sexual grooming.

He was released on bail and is due to answer before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 28 February.
