Young People Count, a youth centre for 11-18-year-olds in Pocklington has a brand new logo thanks the creative talents of local youngster Brad Wright.

Brad, 18, entered a competition run by Sainsbury’s in Pocklington to design a new logo for the centre after the store decided to support the charity Young People count, this year.

Melinda Healy from Sainsbury’s in Pocklington said: “We would like to say a massive congratulations to Brad Wright who won the logo competition his design will be used during fundraising for the charity.” In May this year, Young People Count, which was set up more than a year ago, opened a youth cafe and drop-in centre for 11-18-year-olds at the former Oddfellows pub on Union Street.
