National Play day comes to Pocklington, Market Weighton and Stamford Bridge

CHILDREN’S centres in Pocklington, Market Weighton and Stamford Bridge are looking forward to taking part in a national play day event next Wednesday, 1 August.

The events, held between 10am and 3pm, will give children the chance to play on bouncy castles and in a giant sand pit, have their face painted or practise their football skills on Hull FC’s inflatable penalty area.

Janet Black, leader at Pocklington Children’s Centre, said: “The play day offers families in the Market Weighton, Pocklington and Stamford Bridge area the opportunity to come together and enjoy playing with their children.

“Days out with our families are the ones we remember best from our childhoods.”
