Householders in Market Weighton face a bigger bill from the town council this year.

At a regular meeting on Wednesday 22 January, Market Weighton Town Council decided it had to increase its precept for 2014-15, which will see an average band D household in Market Weighton paying £67.20, instead of the £62.20 they paid for the year 2013-14.

Full story in this Thursday’s new-style Pocklington Post (30 January).
