Market Weighton will be a hub for the country’s oldest horse race next week thanks to a newly-formed group in the town.

Market Weighton Town Team, set up recently to help boost trade on the high street, is setting up a free shuttle bus service between the town centre and the Kiplingcotes Derby racecourse on Thursday 21 March.

The bus, which will run between 10am and 3pm, has been set up due to restricted parking near the end of the course.
