POLICE have released an image of a man who used a fake driving licence to try and set up a call and collect service.

Staff at the Royal Mail delivery office in Pocklington became suspicious of the man when he presented them with the licence in an attempt to set up a service to enable him to pick up mail and parcels for an address which was not his own.

When the man realised that the staff were suspicious of him, he fled the scene.

Humberside Police are appealing for any residents who recognise the man to contact them on 0845 6060222 quoting crime reference number CJ/1850586/2011.
