An event to discuss how health and social care services can be improved in Pocklington was a great success according to family doctors in the town.

The GPs, nurses and staff at Pocklington Group Practice alongside Humber NHS Foundation Trust and East Riding Council, who provide health and social care in the community, want to explore better ways of working together to make sure people always get the right support, at the right time and in the right place.

More than 40 people attended a lively discussion group, held The KP Club in Pocklington, to talk about what worked well already, what needed improving and to give their general views about services and facilities they would like to see in the town.

Full story in this week’s (31 July) Pocklington Post.
