A thriving Women’s Institute celebrated it’s 90th anniversary at the weekend.
Members of the Holme-on-Spalding Moor WI attended a special dinner at the village hall last Saturday to mark the milestone.
New generations of families flocked to the event, not only to celebrate but to remember those founder members who started the branch.
Also in attendance were Margaret Kirby, chairman of the East Yorkshire Federation of Women’s Institutes, and Barbara Ball, who is also part of the Federation.
