TWO metal detecting pals who found a tiny silver coin in a local field have been told they could net a windfall of £80,000 after experts told them it could change the world’s understanding of Roman history.

Lucky metal detectorists Colin Popplewell, 58, and Mark Hildreth, 38, say the coin - which is the size and weight of a penny - is only the second one in history to be found featuring the ‘usurper’ Emperor Proculus.
