Gold medal winning Paralympic athlete visits Pocklington day centre

Service users and staff at a day centre in Pocklington had a golden afternoon thanks to an inspirational visit from a gold medal winning Paralympic athlete.

David Stone, MBE, is a highly decorated trike racer and he paid a visit to Woldhaven Day Centre in Pocklington, with some of his medals, including the gold and bronze medals he won at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

David, who suffers from cerebral palsy, started his racing career in 1995 and has held a number of world and European titles in road racing and time trial events.
