Fun family event at gallery

VISITORS to a former Woldgate College pupil’s art gallery on Saturday can pet piglets, feed newborn lambs and then try their hand at drawing them.

The Purple Pig Company, of Pocklington, will be bringing baby farmyard animals to The Robert Fuller Gallery in Thixendale for the fun family day event.

There will also be pony riding laid on by Fairfield Stables, of the Mile, Pocklington.

Inside Robert’s gallery visitors can see highly detailed paintings of even wilder animals. Pencils and paper will be available for young artists to create their own artwork.

The event is taking place at the gallery between 12pm and 3.30pm.
