A fundraising duo from Pocklington have set themselves an ambitious target of raising £15,000 as they prepare for a “life-changing” trip to Africa to give young orphans help that they desperately need.

Friends William Brown, 26, and Amy Henderson, 29, will be travelling to Uganda in November to volunteer at the Great Living Orphanage.

The pair hope to raise £15,000 over the coming months, which will go directly to the orphanage to fund various projects.
