Residents in Pocklington are being urged to fill out a survey to help the town council form a Neighbourhood Development Plan for Pocklington.

A questionnaire has been delivered to every household in Pocklington, Barmby Moor and all businesses on the Pocklington Industrial Estate, and residents have until 1 May to complete the survey and return it to the town council offices on George Street or Pocklington Arts Centre.

The town council together with Barmby Moor Parish Council are striving to create a Neighbourhood Development Plan for Pocklington which they have been working on since 2012. The Plan sets out a vision of Pocklington’s long-term future and provides for local views being incorporated in the planning process.

Full story in this Thursday’s people’s paper (24 April).
