CORNUCOPIA MUSIC FESTIVAL AT BURTON AGNES HALL IN SEPTEMBER
cornucoppia
THIS year’s Cornucopia Festival is to be held on September 27 and 28 in the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall.
The Cornucopia Festival is a small, family friendly event with a chilled out, laid back atmosphere providing a wide range of music - from folk and Americana through to some classic British blues.
The full programme is still being completed but acts booked so far include Mike Sanchez and his Band, the Nimmo Brothers, rated as one of the best R&B acts in Europe, and upcoming Irish blues rocker Grainne Duffy.
It is likely that up to 18 bands will perform during the duration of the Festival, with acts alternating between the main stage and the acoustic stage throughout the day.
Local food and drink feature prominently with all products being sourced within a 30 mile radius of the Festival site. Last year we served nine different real ales, plus local cider, and the kitchen staff worked exceptionally hard to deliver good quality food, including vegetarian and vegan options, all cooked on site.
The Green Fair will be a central part of the Festival and festival goers will be able to take part in a range of green activities, including the highly addictive pedal powered Scalextric
All of the Festival activities are housed in marquees, so should the great British weather prove less than cooperative, the audience will be warm and snug listening to some great music, drinking some fantastic local beer or eating the delicious food.
There will be plenty of space for camping, motor homes and caravans with excellent road access to the site and the beaches and resorts of the East Coast are just a few miles away for those who may fancy a longer break
Tickets for the Festival are limited to just 500 and all tickets include unlimited access to the grounds and gardens of the Hall, including the maze and the giant games, during the normal opening hours of the Hall. A very limited number of Earlybird tickets will go on sale on March 1st at wegottickets.com/cornucopiafestival or via the Festival box office on 07969 457382
