Competition forms available

ENTRY forms are now available for the Market Weighton Spring Garden Competition.

Forms can be collected from The Post Office and Paper Shop in High Street or at Market Weighton Doctors Surgery in Londesborough Road. They are also available at the Town Hall in Linegate.

The closing date for the competition is Monday 1 April and judging will take place on Thursday 4 April.

The judges would particularly like to hear from new residents who are entering their gardens for the first time.

They are also looking forward to visiting the regular entrants to see what changes they have made to their gardens since last year.

Entry forms for the Summer Garden Competition, which takes place in July each year, will be available at the end of April.

The awards for both competitions will be presented at an event to be held in the Community Hall on Friday 25 October.
