Festive music filled the aisles when staff at Sainsbury’s in Pocklington sang carols to raise vital funds for the special care baby unit at York Hospital.

Staff sang carols on two days and manager Tim Merrett says everyone enjoyed themselves.

“It was really well received. It was great singing over the course of two different days.”

The store raised nearly £3,000 for the special care baby unit during 2013.
