Car collided with a van in Beverley, East Yorkshire

Police are appealing for witnesses to a damage only collision on the A164 at Jock’s Lodge in Beverley.

A vehicle which was being driven by an elderly man was in collision with the rear of a stationary Auto Glass van that had stopped at traffic lights.

The incident took place at about 11am on Friday August 31.

The driver of the offending vehicle stopped briefly but did not provide his details to the van driver.

The vehicle is described as silver in colour, and was possibly a Skoda with a ‘58’ registration plate.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Humberside police on the non-emergency number 101, referring to log 233 of Friday August 31.
