Lissie Ogram

Lissie Ogram

A minute’s silence was held at one of Pocklington’s busiest pubs in tribute to a popular barmaid who died at just 43.

Family and friends have paid tribute to Elisabeth Ogram, known as ‘Lissie’, who was found dead at her home on Kilnwick Close by police.

Lissie worked in Pocklington as a nursery nurse at Lyndhurst Day Nursery, on Kilnwick Road, and as a part-time barmaid at The Feathers, on Market Place. The silent tribute was held at The Feathers on Sunday, attended by many friends and colleagues.

Full story in today’s (20 March) Pocklington Post.
