Pocklington town crier Geoff Sheasby gets ready anounce the start of the Olympic games

Olympic fever swept over Pocklington last Friday morning as bell ringers celebrated the arrival of the Olympic games.

With bell ringing taking place across the country, pocklington and the surrounding towns and villages certainly made themselves heard during the three minute bell ringing at 8.12 am.
