Bagging unwanted goods to save lives
British Heart Foundation volunteers in Beverley are hoping to collect 1,000 bags of unwanted goods this month as part of a nationwide stock donation campaign - the Great British Bag-athon.
Earlier this year Beverley became a BHF Heart Town, which means that Beverley Town Council, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and East Riding of Yorkshire PCT are working with the BHF to improve heart health.
Donations can be left at the Beverley BHF shop in Toll Gavel, and on Monday September 10, volunteers from the charity will be at Beverley’s Tesco store collecting filled donation bags.
