Residents have spoken of their concern over plans to build 77 new houses in Pocklington, which look set to receive the green light.

David Wilson Homes’ planning application to build a new £7.6million housing estate east of Nine Acres, Burnby Lane, went before East Riding Council’s Planning Committee.

The application was deferred but once a Section 106 Agreement has been completed, full planning permission will be granted subject to a number of conditions.

Full story in this Thursday’s new-style Pocklington Post (30 January).
